Privacy Policy

Motions is operated by Rip Build, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation (“Motions”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you request access, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only.

What we collect

When you request access we store three things:

• Your email address, exactly as you typed it.
• The date and time you joined, recorded by our database.
• Which page you signed up from, so we can tell these requests apart from our other sign-ups.

That is the whole record. We do not ask for your name, phone number, date of birth, payment details or location, and we do not collect them on this site.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising or social tracking. Nothing is stored in your browser, and we do not build a profile of you or track you across other sites. The only information that reaches us is the address you choose to type in.

How we use it

• To email you when your invite is ready.
• To email you occasionally before then about the launch itself.

We do not sell your email address, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s advertising. If you are in the UK or EU, our legal basis for this is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.

Who else handles your data

We use Supabase to store access requests. Supabase hosts the database on our behalf and applies its own privacy terms to that processing. Entries are stored in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your request until Motions launches and you have had a reasonable opportunity to use your invite, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project does not launch, we delete the requests.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email we send you using the link in that email. You can also ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email [email protected] from the address in question so we can confirm it is yours.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. We honour those requests through the same address, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for making one.

Children

Motions is built for children, but access is requested by their parents. Requests must be made by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, and this website does not collect any information from or about children — only the requesting adult’s email address. If you believe a child has submitted a request, contact us and we will remove it.

The Motions product itself will have its own privacy terms covering children’s use, which will apply when it opens.

Security

Access requests can be added by visitors but cannot be read, changed or deleted by them — the database enforces this, not just the website. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and we hold your address, we will tell you by email.
